This event is part of the fundraising efforts of the International Women’s Day 2026 Organizing Committee at Centro Cultural de la Raza. Funds will support the Serpiente Mural Renovation Project, which will remove deteriorating, lead-painted exterior panels and replace them with new primed surfaces to prevent further structural damage and leaks.
Once restoration is complete, additional funds will help commission a new serpiente mural led by women-identified artists—expanding representation in the Centro’s mural history. All proceeds directly support this project, preserving the Centro’s cultural legacy while uplifting new artistic voices.
